About me
As a graduate with a major in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, I embarked on my professional journey at UPS in 2011. Initially, my responsibilities revolved around maintaining and supporting the organization's Billing function. This involved providing comprehensive global user support, conducting user training sessions on new initiatives, and promptly analyzing and addressing production issues and defects.
To broaden my skill set, I made a transition to the Billing development team. Here, I collaborated with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Legal on revenue and process improvement projects. Additionally, I played a role in the Billing Transformation feasibility program by aiding in requirement gathering and roadmap development, as well as crafting the business case. Concurrently, I pursued an MBA from Montclair State University, graduating in 2016, to deepen my understanding of business dynamics in the classroom.
In 2018, I transitioned to the role of Product Manager for UPS's customer-facing Billing Center application. As a member in transforming our legacy Billing Center application, I worked closely with a third-party vendor, Engineering, Marketing, Billing, Digital Experience, and other business units to deliver an industry-leading, cloud-based billing solution. Additionally, during my tenure, I helped lead a significant project aimed at expanding payment methods on UPS.com. This initiative introduced convenient options like Apple Pay and Google Pay, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
In my more recent roles, I ventured into the Shipping function of the organization, where I played a pivotal role in transforming UPS's shipping back-end systems. Focused on cloud migration to reduce annual costs, I provided subject matter expertise, offered guidance, and contributed to the development of a strategic roadmap for a seamless transition.
In my spare time, I enjoy being a father to my two young girls, Ella and Liana, and a husband to my lovely wife, Vlora. Additionally, I enjoy staying current on trending and future tech topics, as well as watching and rooting for the local sports team, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
